Ok,
I've started PR'ing again coming from a 2 year break. I had a question. When I am reading and I run into a subtitle called 'Restore', if I want to know everything about restore, do I rapid read the ENTIRE SECTION or just pick the points out?

Hi

What do you want the information for? By answering that question, your question answers itself.

If you're just interested in learning everything for a verbatim test on a short section, then you would be better off just rapid reading. However, most of us only need to use the information in a certain way. If that is the case, then you don't really need "everything", but only what you want to use. In this case, superreading and dipping would generally be a better idea. If the material you want to cover is a long, then again superreading and dipping is recommended.

Even if you do want "everything", I suggest you make it clear to yourself exactly what you mean by that. Will you know "everything" when you can answer the questions in a test? To discuss the subject intelligently? To be able to formulate a thesis? To be able to astound the world's expert on the subject?

Well, I guess you WANT to read it, don't you? When I got to "Glitches in the Matrix and how to fix them," I read the whole thing, I dipped the entire essay. It was well writtian, complex, and interesting beyond the majority of the essays in "Taking the Red Pill."

The PRPD isn't going to arrest you if you're having fun and learning what you want to.
