Alex gave some good advice a few weeks ago to notice the white areas and not worry so much about the words. When I tried to apply this after reading her comments I imagined the opened book more as a painting or a photograph and tried to take in the form of the paragraphs and the white space. This technique worked well for me. Sometimes the words were blurry, sometimes they were clear, but I didn't sweat it and just turned pages so I could see the next snapshot.
