The X technique is equally effective and in some cases necessary (people with eyesight in only one eye will have to use this technique since it will be impossible for them to see a blip page)

With regular use the blip page beomces a comfortable, steady width. Yes, you are taking in the information. The conscious mind is getting it blurred because the brain is showing you the information received by both eyes at the same time. If it showed you what you saw with one eye at a time it would be clear.

Thanks for the reply. I've wondered about the x method because it's more convincing to me than a blip page. However, I'll try both!
