that's exactly it! It is so much fun looking at a good mindmap with colours and symbols and funny drawings!!
I took an accelerated/intensive course in communicology and had as much fun working with my mindmaps as attending lectures and working with the material 
and when I got my certification people were actually talking about *buying* my overview mindmap of the whole course - to hang on their wall *lol*. It was fun and exciting and I was SO surprised that my mindmap would elicit such a response
