I use mind maps all the time now. It is wonderful. It did take me quiet some time to learn them (i still learn today as i advance) but one you get used to it is great. I tip of mine is that i found it to draw pictures or clues instantly as you are creating the mind map instead of drawing later. You may want to edit your mind map later on during a review proccess.
