To Common sense: We use a different organization from the American one.
we're organized in laws, that is to say that we've a lot of laws regarding everything (laws hat many times are in contradiction).
They can be made by the state or the "districts"and the lawyer is the one that look for laws to defend his client...

My text books states and explain the most important laws of each area (the economic one, the private one, the public one and so on) that are in some large books called "Codici" that contais all the possible laws in circle.
There are some few exemples...and some cases, but they're used to make you understand the application of laws.
