Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer 45 Degree angle...is it really important?

In PRWMS book, Mr Scheele states reading a newspaper should be laid flat on table to PR, however using a book; it need be at 45 degrees...
I have tried PRing a book, article, mag, etc at 45; And also on my lap or flat on desk and this seems to work for me-however what do you recommend (to those who know what they're doing)?
I guess I am just having trouble of getting used to PR like this.
