I have a goal to master photoreading by just reading a book because right now the course and the seminar is a bit more than I can afford. Well with the seminar it maybe out of my way for some locations and the hotel and transportation seem high for me to. Plus I want to get better at learning from a book.

Right now my best learning style seems to be better with in person and the home study course. But I want to really give the book a shot and this time I am going to give a lot of time to reading the book and reading it over.

I was wondering if I could chat with you guys who mastered or learned photoreading with the just the book? I wonder how many of you have? I do understand the home study course helps make it easier to master. But our budget does always have the ability.

I am thinking if I keep affirming I can do it with just the book and say I will do it. That mastery with the limited study tool is possible.

I remember speaking to Dana on the phone and he mentioned that he knew one or few persons who mastered it without the seminar and home study courses.

I realize photoreading does not just give you the ability to learn the factual information and remember it but it gives your subconscious the actuall ability the author is trying to teach. I mean you dont become a master overnight but you get ingrained in your subconscious the little bit of performance ability. I realize there are people who are book smart about computers and
real estate and securities investing. But would not have the hands on skill with computers or would have no skill with real estate investing.

I am thinking what makes photoreading different from all other systems is that it directly works with the subconscious.

I thought your name was familiar looking. You haven't used the PWMS before?

Anyways, there are lots of people around who had learned using only the book. Not me. The forum person that comes to mind first is "youngprer". He has loads of posts. You can even do a search on your topic. Book only learners have had a thread of two in the past.

Therefore the answer is you most definitely can do it with only the book. However, you have this forum which is a great addition to the book.

I would say to your to stop trying to guess how the system works. All you need to know is that it is a how to book. You other-than-conscious mind (some say sub-conscious, Paul doesn't seem to like it, I like inner-mind or inner-self) has tremendous ability. The PWMS is just a method to get around the limited conscious mind for the PR step, and then pass the information to the conscious mind during the activation step. There is a lot more detail, but those are the big ideas.

I'd say start reading and have fun. Really don't under estimate think like smiling and having fun when learning.

Sending love,
Iam2

I actually learnt it from the book. I did the home study course because I already had it.

The course recommended reading the book first in any case so I read the book as advised on the front page. Figuring the Author was going to show me something with this process. Well bingo I finished the book in 2 hours, knew what I needed to know from the author about photoreading and connected to the fact you don't need to read every word in the book to have conscious comprehension of what the author is saying.

Tested it out in the real world and was wowed by the results. About a week later I did the home study course because I already owned it. Polished up my skills for me.

Well, initially I had only the book to start with and I was able to do by just following the book. I used it to help me learn my ancestral language. I've been able to do it and only later was I able to get the personal learning course. I am able to go through at some very good speeds right now. I wish you luck in your endeavors. David
