I've PR'ed dictionaries, both English and Fench-English English-French, but not to activate. I treat those as direct learning experience. I then trust myself to find and use the correct words, when I need them. When speak and reading French this means I relax a little more and trust myself that I'm doing it correctly. This makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.
In fact, I think I'll PR the F-E E-F dictionary this morning. Oh and some grammar books too. Those I'll spend some time activating.
