If you have to write on something I guess you have considerable reading to do to know the subject that you have to write about. There are probably plenty of books on the subject.
I'd go for 10 books. Photoread the lot, by Photoreading 6 of those books a day at mixed for a week. Then from a quick postview select 4 or 5 books for syntopic reading. Write the paper. There really is no limit to how you approach it. Photreading more books than you need just seems to make it easier.
