Has anyone found any techniques that significantly improved their spontaneous activation? Though it wasn't mentioned in the book, I was under the impression that doing manual activation (mindmapping + skittering/superreading) before I sleep would put my mind in the mood for such activities when I enter a dream state.. though I've only had one account of dream activation to date. Since it's *spontaneous* activation, one won't have any control over whether it'll occur but there must be ways to improve the likelihood of it occuring.. Any suggestions?

You could try getting together with a friend. You photoread a book that they have already read and activated and they photoread a book that you have already read and activated.

Quiz each other on the book the next day and see what happens.

I find anchoring a text to a peice of music helps. I stumbled across this when using "Enemy" by Days of the New while incubating "Listen-Little Man." I still manually activated, but I had spontanious activation while manually activating. It's a strange feeling, almost like the book is stretching your face (see "Army of Darkness" for an interesting visual on how this feels).
