Zak, in Alexk's absence here is some point form guidelines.
Work in 20 to 30 minute blocks of time.
Try and cover the entire book in that time block. If it's a 2000 page text book, you're not likely to make it, and there are alternate strategies for material like that.
You only have to PR the book once. You can do it more if you want, but you don't have to.
Giving yourself some incubation time before trying to activate is best. One night sleep before the first activation is Strongly recommended.
Having a purpose is very important. Trigger words are less important, they can help you develop a purpose. You should search the forum on developing a purpose. I personally believe that a good purpose is very helpful.
End of idea bullets. You should consider checking the forum for the 5 day test. There are lots of threads and some very detailed.
