Dear all,
I know that PR can help us to spot important information when we superread.
But I wonder if PR helps us to comprehend the concenpts better. For my maths book, I eventually find that I can't use superread and dip to activate it as quite lots of details are important to notice. Um... I should say even the details are not directly relevant to core concepts but we would suffer a lot if we don't notice them.
I think the approach should be to rapid read the whole text and to spot the important details and then to do 'chunking' to get the core concept. Even for the core concepts, the passage consist not only 20% but at least 50%. I tried to superread and dip and skittering to activate but didn't really help. I find I missed quite a lot of important information for s and d. Even for rapid read, I have to read the paragraph several times to get a little sense of the abstract concepts.
I wonder PR can help me to comprehend better even I just regular or rapid read. I mean if I PR several times more before i activate, does it improve my comprehension during my regular reading?
Also, can anyone suggest a better and more efficient approach for me to tackle the maths problems? I have biggest problems in algebra and analysis as the concepts are too abstract and the problems assigned by professor are too tough like asking you to do several linear transformations.
