Hello Photoreaders,
I am a 12th grade student ,eager to taste Photoreading.I was intoduced to PRWMS last year and still then trying to experience PRing but with little success.
I dont know whether I'm getting blip or not and I also want to know how this blip looks in different bindings of books.
Also when I put that senseless TANGERINE back above my head , I feel no change. Is it worth to use the tangerine technique ?
Please help me b'coz I am in the brim of my exams.
Bevin

Hi; what's missing here is your purpose. You will not get results with photoreading if you do not have a purpose and a goal for what you want to get out of the book. After you have established what you are trying to get from the book you search the book for trigger words (key words of the book) and you ask questions about those key words. Then you superread and dip looking for the answers to the questions you have formulated. photoread4me.

Hey, BevinJ

I know what it's like to be a high school student in a tough schedule. Please, don't lay your hopes on PhotoReading too quickly, especially for an exam. This is for the sake of security with the skills. If you wish to use it for that purpose, then patience is necessary

If at all you worry about the skills while doing it, it's going to be less productive. However, it wouldn't work to try not to worry, because not worrying does not take effort. (excuse the repetitive negatives)
Definitely, use the skills(tangerine) addressed to you, but don't be afraid of messing up, or expecting too much. Expect little, like a playful child. By the way, by what means did you learn about the system? (book, learning course, forums)

About the lack of success, could it be that you're just afraid to mess up a skill that promises great results? I know I was pumped up when I found about about the system, yet having too high of hopes is a risk! The system really is easy, and feel free to use the system in a way that delivers best and suits your likings.

Actually touch the top back part of your head when using the tangerine technique. Place your awareness there while reading/ photoreading/ superreading/skittering/ rapid reading.

You won't necessarily 'feel' anything However if you consciously place the tangerine there and throw your awareness there you sharpen your intent and focus toward the text you are working with.

When you're getting into state and using the tangerine technique, don't doubt yourself. the reason you dont feel anything is because you are looking too hard. once you try to notice a difference, you'll find that there is no difference at all. the point is to be aware of the top back part of your head, and just read. if you find that you read faster, like the reading test in the learning course will demonstrate, then you know it works. you won't notice the change until you know exactly how it feels, but the point is to keep doing it, and then after you've had success with it, you'll know it worked.

Hi everyone and thanx for ur replies.I tried as you all mentioned, but I am still worried with my comprehension and recall.
Another case is that whwn I'm in a library,
I felt relaxed and didn't actually followed the steps for preparing oyherthan stating purpose and affirmations. Then I went into photofocus state straight and PRead one book on "manners and etiquettes".I then closed the book and kept it back in the shelf.I really want to try whwther my PRing was working or not ?.How can I do it without access to that book for activation(since some books in that library was of RESTRICTED ACCESS and RARE and couldn't be taken home for reading)

Please help me
BEVIN

Try it on non fiction books you can take home and activate.

Another option is to get e-books if you cannot get books for some reason.

When it comes down to it if you really want to activate those rare books you get yourself a seat in the library and activate them there. Do your mind map in the library. I've done it on the floor next to the shelves since there is a limit of 3 books on one subject I decided to activate 2 there in the library. Where there is a will there is a way.
