Yes! If you habitually enjoy that type of reading material you'll enjoy it even more and "get" the point/twist/humour the author is presenting.
Perhaps simply because you haven't forgotten the clue that was presented a page or a chapter ago and it wasn't censored by your conscious mind while you were reading it as being unimportant. The benefit of photoreading is that because your mind already saw and processed the information at the non conscious level you notice the clues more.
