Consider your purpose prior to each stage of reading. You don't have you constantly think about it. Bit like putting your wallet in your pocket everyday. At some point you consider spending the money that is in it so you take it along and from time to time you might chect that you still have it handy.
That is the approach for purpose. Know what you want, like what you know what you want to buy when you go to the shops.
