Yes, the 'Cambridge University' experiment, I think. As long as the first and last letters of the word were in their correct places, the rest of the letters could be scrambled and the rest of the word still easily read. This proved that the human mind is able to decode words as a whole, and in fact - often times prefers to do it that way. Still, it doesn't change some of the goof ups that dyslexics can experience. Or hell, everyday majority can experience!
