I have the program and have finished it. My question is on multiple photoreadings of the same material. For my career, I am expected to take and pass certain exams. Many times, I need to have close to 100% recall of the material since it covers specifics on certain laws. I am using the whole system on the material, but would multiple photoreadings help? Due to the nature of the test and the high level of comprehension needed, I am spending many hours on the material.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I am new and I searched the board under the Step #3: Photoreading, but did not see this question posted although I would think it has been addressed.

One of the techniques is to photoread your textbooks once a day for about 2 weeks when you first receive them. That way you use the classes for activation.

It certainly doesn't hurt and there are times when it's wiser to photoread than to activate the book especially if activation is difficult. Trust you instinct ask yourself 'should I photoread this book again?' if the answer is yes, then go for it, if no, it means you've probably reached the point of zero return for the effort.

Yes multiple photoreadings would definitely help. A really great friend of mine who was involved with extremely complex difficult books found that photoreading helped him immensely. Before he heard about photoreading he & other students would be involved with regular reading from 700am to 1100pm at night.

Once he learned photoreading the difference was like night & day. He found that photoreading helped him stay on top of his reading and studies & these books were not simple books they were complex difficult books. He would photoread let the material incubate & he would photoread again another day.

One thing you must remember you definitely want to activate have a strong & well defined purpose.

Let me give you a analogy.Too many people want something for nothing.Take people who want to lose weight. there are a lot of people who want a magical pill so they don't have to expend any effort, don't have to exercise, don't have to watch the type of foods they eat. Just take a pill & not have to do anything. In a way a lot of people would love to just photoread not spend any time or effort mind probing finding answers to questions superreading &dipping. There is no magic pill or formula with photoreading. You can get tremendous results with photoreading but some effort is required. photoread4me.

Thanks. This brings up an interesting point: when the material is very difficult, meaning you get confused and frustrated when reading the material (i.e. reading a detailed finance book versus a magazine article on an easy topic), maybe you should photoread more since the unconscious mind must do more processing before your conscious mind can understand the material. In the program, Paul said that you must have unconscious understanding before you can have conscious comprehension. For difficult studies, multiple repetitions of the photoreading step force your unconscious mind to grapple with the material. (This is not a substituted for activation techniques.)

One of my goals is to use photoreading to master complex financial concepts which are difficult and confusing. It’s not memorizing facts, it’s building complex understandings. This is not about quickly getting through an article, it’s about going over the material many times to slowly peel away layers of understanding. The extra photoreadings would not be on consecutive days, but spaced weeks or months apart. Just wondering what you thought.

In a word yes, It's also helpful if you photoread other sources. Not necessarily activating them but giving your mind enough information to ponder. I personally think it's in the incubation that the material gets sorted out and the repetition of photoreading it is only to show your mind the intention that you want the problem solved.

You might be surprised that the application of rapid layering will help you get to that point a lot faster. Much understanding comes with doing even if it's only playing out the senario in our minds.
