The best thing to do if you are stuck today is to give it a rest. I am not yet an expert PhotoReader, but I have certainly come a long way. I remember in the very beginning of my learning journey, I found it really difficult and aggravating to keep the PhotoFocus because my eyes would always try to focus on the page out of sheer habit. I left it for a week or so, and suddenly, I realized that I could easily hold the PhotoFocus state although I'd still lose it every once in a while. I kept practicing it, and now I can mantain it indefinitely and I feel a calm, relaxed satisfaction from the process that I never had before.

My activation, I think, is improving in a similar way now. It took me a few months to really stop worrying about the process. After all, this is the only way to get results.

So your job is to take a break from it now, acknowledging that you WILL get it, just not today. If it's really causing you anguish, leave it for a week or so, meanwhile programming your subconscious mind to relax and enjoy the process. Maybe you'd like to skim through the Natural Brilliance book. It has some good ideas that may help you. I'm sure AlexK and others will come to the rescue too; this is just my two cents :-)

I hope this helps in some way!
