You're number scheme doesn't match the course material. You should start with the summary diagrams in the manual or book. Then add detail you feel you need.

This sounds like your don't expect results. I like the curious and observant beginner-like attitude as you enter the ALS.
Step 3, sub-steps 1,2 3,4 seem all jumbled. Check the book again.
