I'm not sure where this post is going to end up, but I wanted to write it solidly crystalize a few of the observations I've made from my 6 months as a Photoreader. I've also been using the paraliminals for one and a half years.

I bought the PR program in May of 2002, after 2 nights of sweet profits bartending.

At the time, I was taking an Organic Chemistry class, and I was finishing up my pre-med coursework. I wanted some new ways of learning.

Since I work and go to school part-time, I kind of forgot about about PR for a year.

However, I did the memory supercharger tapes very often, at least once a month, for tests and other events. I believe that it has helped me to remember vast quantities of information quicker. In my Organic Chemistry II final, we were allowed to take a notecard of mechanisms and reactions into the final. I was a little too busy with my other finals (3 in one day!) to prepare a notecard. Therefore, I studied my notes briefly, and did the Memory supercharger. I was one of 5 in the class (out of 80) to get an A.

During the summer 2003, I finally confronted myself, and sat down 2 days to finish the course. I was inspired, and immediately started to PR vast quantities of information on a number of different subjects.

My subject of interest this summer was psychology, NLP, sociology, and personal relationships. After many failed attempts at romance, I wanted to learn the psychology, biology, and sociology of human attraction. One thing I noticed, was that one has to be careful with their intentions.

Many of my intentions were to model some people, at that time, that I thought were succesful with women. Most of them were womanizers who were good at casual flings and nothing else. During this time of intense study, Direct learning, and modelling, I actually noticed myself become a much more negative person. I became much more sarcastic, mentally poluted, and ambivalent. I also got much better at seduction.

However, the ability to seduce is not really all that it is professed to be. It drastically increased the emotional turbulence in my life, lowered the state of my physical health (partying), and sapped my boyish innocence. I learned a great deal about the 'darker side' of people and relationship, so much so, that it became my focus for close to a year. In the process, a lot of my inner light was dampened.

However, the PR techniques were incredibly useful for learning this. For better or worse, I learned a vast quanity of information very quickly. My whole posture, tonality, and body language, and mental attitude has changed as a result. Some of the things I learned were very beneficial to being more succesful as a person, and I do plan on maintaining them.

At the end of the summer, this year, I began looking for new hobbies that were just as thrilling and exciting as human seduction.
My two major interests right now are learning to play music (piano, and eventually voice) and learning to speak Spanish.

I've been playing piano since September (for 4 months), and my level of play is at the level most people learn after 1.5-2 years of lessons. A great deal of this has to do PR music books, syntopic reading, and modelling as much music as possible. I also use the paraliminals.

I have experience primarily with Personal Genius. My purpose is usually some variant of 'playing inspired music that comes directly from my spirit. All technical, reading, listening, improvising, and playing by ear skills that i need to acquire will be easily and effortless acquired by my subconscious mind.'

The paraliminal really helps. My ability to read music (my personal bane) is rapidly increasing now. In addition, I've had strange musical dreams, and finally I am always struck by music after I listen to the personal genius. Like sometimes, I walk into the grocery and I'll hear the musac, and all I can do is feel compelled to listen. I'll start hearing little things I never heard before.

One great resource I found is my local library. Upon my request, they have purchased a number of products from Learning Strategies Inc. I recently request that they get the Perfect Pitch Training program by David L. Burge. It is on order. I cannot wait till they get it!

I also had the library order the Easy Learn Spanish tapes. I'm halfway through, and I'm finding them to be beneficial. I've been studying spanish for a year now, and took a couple university classes. However, now I am getting serious about learning fluently, because I want to use this skill professionally.

I basically, PR my lessons, mindmap the vocab using various pictures, and listen to stuff.
One thing I am still having a little trouble with is finding ways of mind-mapping spanish grammar, particularly verb tenses. I find it difficult to be able to sort all the different conjugations in my mind and my mindmaps. Have any of you guys come up with anything? Have any ideas?

I have found that sometimes I will just PR my spanish chapters, and then they will be spontaneously activated in class the next day. Spontaneous activation is one of my favorite feelings in the world.

At the beginning of each Personal Genius tape, the tape asks you to recall a moment when you learned something effortlessly. The feeling of spontaneous activation is also the closest thing I can think of.

I am actually looking forward to starting medical school, because I'm starting to get my study habits down.

The last piece is to work on my memory for long-term retention and organization. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? I recently checked out Mega Memory by Kevin Trudeau.
I want to create a kind of 'filing cabinet' inside my mind. There are so many products out there, and so many options. Finding one that works is confusing.
