Hi everyone,
I picked up a book full of lovely anecdotes. Prepared, previewed, photoread, pulled triggerwords and got set to activate.
Thing is: I end up wanting to read more or less every little anecdote. They are wonderful.
My purposes are: Entertainment and feeding my curiosity as well as creating anchors for learning more technical maths (when studying Gauss' Theorem, it is pleasant to have some stories about him, some ideas about his life... not directly helpful in learning the actual theorem, I guess, but it definitely helps keep the fire blazing).
My question:
Is there a good way to activate such a text? I mean, apart from simply giving in and slow reading it...
