I wish I knew exactly, it might have been from lucidity.com, or maybe from the forum at astralpulse.com . I am not exactly sure. I know for me I become lucid most of the time because, the situation in my dream is to farfetched, and I just realize. Sorry I dont remember the exact source. As far as LD'ing goes, the movie waking life is amazing. I have to say that was the most thought provoking movies I have ever seen.
