Since one or two books is 10 minutes you've got the time. Also the time you spend at your computer. Use the photoreading step of preview and photoread on the webpages. It's even relevant to chat. It's apparent you can find 10 minutes because you managed to find them to post.

Now those books that you preview and photoread can and probably should be your textbooks.

The activation process is best done on a few books that are not textbooks. If you did the home study course as advised then you've already worked through 3 books. One easy way is to set aside 15 to 30 minutes to activate a book of your choice, use the 5 day test and shorten it to 15 minutes if that's all the time you have. Since you've already done the course right through chances are that you could manage to work with your textbooks well enough so you come back to Pauls statement "Do not kid yourself into thinking that you are going to create time to practice."

So do as Paul suggest and grab your textbooks and "Just use it!".

The 1 to 10 books per day is just the preview and photoreading steps. This adds a nice polish to your skills. If you haven't really got time for it Just photoread your textbooks everyday (or one of them daily) for a couple of months. After previewing them the first time you don't really need to preview them again so you only need to spend 5 minutes photoreading. It's just more fun if you can grab 2 or 5 or 10 books a day and photoread them and then decide which one of them you want to activate that week.

Also remember to apply preview and S/R & dip to your emails, articles and magazine stories you read etc. That way you're using the skills and in a sense practicing them.
