I have been listening to my Memory Supercharger that I received with my PR course at night whilelying in bed. I have fallen a sleep a couple of times with it playing. Is my subcon. still picking things up? I have also placed my player on repeat and wake up a couple of hours later to turn it off.
Does anyone know if this is ok or is it a waste of batteries?

Get an AC adapter and you'll never have to worry about it again

it's ok, your subcon. picks it up and processes it.

If you wake up at the end of the tape with the coming out instructions you weren't really asleep.

If you've set your intention before you put the tape on you'll have gotten it. The paraliminals are usually played out before your fully asleep.

If you don't mind disrupting your sleep to turn the tape of the repeating it won't hurt you, though personally I see it as pointless as the main impression of information goes in within the first 30 anyway. The information is better processed by the mind when you let it go and incubate during sleep.

Thanks again guys,
I only really sleep for about an hour before I wake up to turn it off. This way I can relax, and slip under the covers while learning.

If you're talking about leaving Memory Supercharger on all night as you sleep, I'm afraid it might not work. The brain automatically turns off the sense of hearing as you approach deeper stages of sleep. Just like there were experiments done that prove Photoreading works, there have been dozens of experiments showing that sleep learning doesn't work.

During the sleep cycle the subconscious mind processes the information that was acquired throughout the day. It will not respond to additional information, because it has to put the old information in places.

Sleep learning is for lazy people. Forget about all these new technological devices that are fulling people regarding sleep learning.

My philosophy is that it is best not to touch your dreams. Let go of conscious control of them - Lucid dreaming. (I can foresee a wave of disagreement about this with me from a lot of photoreaders). You may set goals for your subconscious to solve, or ideas to be found. But do not control or interferer with it. Dreams or sleep cycles are for some reason we may not yet know. It is a time to let go and allow your mind to function on its own, to heal the body and sort the information in its places.

Well thats what I think.

In truth, Sleep Learning DOES work. Sleep Learning is not actually done during sleep itself. Sleep Learning was designed to work during the hypnagogic stage, the barrier between sleep and wakefulness. Mind Awake, Body Asleep. In most people, it is a fast journey through that stage. In those who learn to maintain that state, it is exhilerating beyond belief.
Anywho, I read once about a researcher who used an EEG to turn on a tape player when the dominant brain state was at 7Hz (approximate zone of hypnagogia). As the brain states start to lower below 7Hz, the volume of the playback is automatically increased proportionately. This causes the user to become more alert, and ideally maintains the 7Hz brain state.
I think rather than sleep learning, it should have been called "relaxation learning".
