Talk to him about school. Don't suggest anything. Just ask questions and listen. Ask about english. Why he thinks he is not doing so well.
Therein lies your answer.
Your course of action is determined by His own assessment of his problem. This is crucial. Let him, from all angles, desccribe his problem. Do not judge. Listen.
Evaluate. Then summarize and post to this forum.
Then the kind folks at learning strategies will be able you to guide your son to greatness. I am serious. If any parent had access to these resources (Learning strategies.com) and applied them regularly in the upbringing of their children....
