hi, have spoken to him and every answer seems to be very negative but I feel very sad for him.
1. he feels dumb, all the other kids seem to be able to bluff it even if they say they don't know what it all means.
2. even when he studies and puts in the time he still doesnt do well and gets a lower mark than when he does nothing, therefore what is the use!
3. what do I need this for anyway...doesnt help me in life.
4. I'm never going to improve so why bother - just a waste of time.
5. On a recent assessment the answers were on the tip of his tongue but he just couldn't pull them up and that was very frustrating.
I have explained to him that whatever we do it will require effort on his part.
