I just ran across this article and was wondering if any PR experts out there could share their thoughts. It seems to possibly be an early form of preconcious processing.

Hi Zen; Photoreading is not about developing a photographic memory.Photoreading is about mentally photographing a page per second exposing the page to the other than unconscious mind.

The other than conscious mind is much more powerful than the conscious mind the conscious mind can only attend to 6 to 8 bits of information at a time whereas the other than conscious mind can attend to 20,000 things at the same time.

Photoreading has nothing to do with developing a photographic memory photoreading is about using the whole mind both the conscious and other than conscious mind. The conscious mind is used when activation techniques are used to bring the material that has been photoread so people can get the information they need from the material they have photoread.
