Clarify your purpose, have your mind probing questions and trigger words written down before you start.
Remember also that activation is done in layers. The best way to layer is have 2 to 3 questions seek answers, mind map, mind probe again. Ask yourself if you need to know more, if so what more do you need to know. Go in with questions and find answers again.
If you're not an active participant in activation then you fall into the passive regular reading mode. You've been doing that a whole lot longer than applying the PhotoReading System so go easy on yourself.
