Olzenkhaw; in my opinion i would not recommend doing it that way let me explain why.I think it would slow you down way too much. When superreading and dipping you want to go through the book really, really fast. I mean the faster the better. You don't want to spend any more than 30 seconds a page.
If you do less than 30 seconds a page for example 4 to 15 seconds a page great.Look it will take some time to develop skill with superreading and don't put any pressure on yourself. The more you superread the better you will get at it and i understand people have all kinds of different backgrounds and experiences.
You want to go through the book as a whole first. The idea is that the brain works best learning the whole first and then later individual parts. The brain does not work well trying to learn some isolated fragmented part.It is much better to get the whole picture first.Learning in layers works best. Each subsequent pass you pick up more information.
It is my opinion that it would be much more effective to superread and dip the whole book first without mind-mapping. Then superread and dip the whole book a 2nd time with mindmapping the second time. The reason i think it is better to wait until the 2nd superread is that mindmapping would slow you down way too much.
