My questions are not directly related to page turning rate, but towards being in the correct state. The page turning rate isn't important, unless it is distracting your from being in state. In which case changing the page rate my help you keep focussed.
Being in a photo-focus isn't to important. It is just a soft-focus technique that is easy to notices. If you see all the the material on both pages, and you are not focussing on any specific words. Then you are doing fine.
Chanting is a good way to keep you in the right state, and stop from daydreaming inappropriately.
