Hello,

Just three weeks ago I purchased the Photoreading Whole Mind System book and read it almost immediately. I bought the book because of another book I read a few weeks ago, The Einstein Factor, which recommended this book.

Anyway, I've been following the steps in the book. Using another non-fiction book, I scan over the structure of the book, write out a purpose for reading the book, and then I flip through the pages and write down words I see frequently ("trigger words"). I also try to get relaxed and let my subconcious mind absorb the material.

I don't seem to have any problem Photofocusing...I mean, I see the blip all the time, and I can't read the words because they're out of focus. The hardest part I have is Activation. I superread the text just as the Photoreading book says, but I do not feel drawn to any passage by my mind, nor does reading any of the text spark off ideas in my mind.

I guess my questions are

1) Am I doing everything as I should be doing?

2) What are some Activation tips for a beginner?

3) Granted that I am doing everything correctly, how long (days, weeks, months, years) should it take to receive my first manual activation experience? In other words, what is the range of time that it takes between first testing the Photoreading technique and achieving activation results?

I consider myself fairly open-minded. I know that the subconcious mind records nearly everything it senses, so I don't think that the Photoreading system is unfounded. And because of this, I plan to continue studying this system (as I have Image Streaming) despite others' claims that the sytem hasn't worked for them. I would be grateful to hear of any beginner activation strategies.

Thank you, and sorry for the long post; but I figure that if you're a true Photoreader, word count shouldn't bother you :-)
