I had an idea for getting started on an image stream. I know that from time to time some folks experience difficulty getting started with image streaming so I worked out a way of getting started.
I made a list of 85 (and still building) triggers. They are written on individual index cards (they get recycled) or strips of paper. Just prior to starting an image stream session I pick one of these cues at random, from a faced down shuffled deck. Now when I image stream I have a starting point. If the image stream moves away from the original cue that's fine. It just seems easier to start image streaming by knowing where I'm going to start.
I thought that perhap some members of the forum would like to try this technique to see how it works for them.
Here's the first 21 of my cues. I'd be happy to post all 85 if anyone is interested.
1. Open a door see what is on the other side
2. Open a door and feel / smell / taste what is there
3. Open a door and hear a message.
4. See a book describe... it open it read a message
5. See a book... describe it hear the message when you open it
6. See a book... describe it feel / smell / taste the message that it contains for you
7. Find a Treasure chest... describe where you find it ?see what it contains
8. Find a Treasure chest... describe where you find it ? hear what it contains
9. Find a Treasure chest... describe where you find it ? feel / smell / taste what it contains
10. You are on a mode of transport... what is it? Describe the motion. Describe what you hear
11. You are on a mode of transport... what is it? Describe the motion. Describe what you see
12. You are on a mode of transport... what is it? Describe the motion. Describe feel /taste / smell
13. There is a box... describe it hear what the box contains; describe
14. There is a box... describe it see what the box contains; describe

16. A meal is set before you what does it taste and smell like

I printed them on yellow paper and keep them with my HHT questions. Just grab one of each to get started.
