Just thought I’d post a quick point - do any of you actually think that evolution would have allowed us to walk around with an incredibly energy hungry organ (I believe the human brain requires more energy to run than any other organ - including the heart), in such a vulnerable place, if we didn’t use it to max capacity? Nature has a wonderful way of optimising performance – as functions/bodily features become unnecessary, natural selection removes them. Vestigial tails anyone?
