Easier activation. Like rehearsing for a play the more you do it the easier it flows on the night.
The duel benefit of kick starting PhotoReading mode when we do that. If you're going to PhotoRead 10 books a day for a couple of months why not apply it to books that we know we need.
Another reason. We being human do let our PhotoReading skills run down, not doing it as often a bit of rehearsal helps us get into the flow, so by starting the school year of the semester with 2 weeks of PhotoReading the textbooks you ease yourself into doing it habitually during the school year.
