So I tried Alex's suggestion of rapid reading after photoreading for Harry Potter ( ). I have read few novels since becoming more proficient with PR because I have only started using the system consistently this year, when I was only able to apply it to school books.

I photoread the book and was amazed at how much faster it was then when I used to read. The writing flowed well, but I also had that experience with other Potter books, I have yet to try Rapid Reading only on other novels.

Overall - I didn't reduce my time to 1/3 of what it would normally have taken. I felt stuck because I read almost all of the sentences (even if quickly) instead of super-reading and getting the gelling feeling.

I was just wondering if there's something more I can do to reduce the time because while it is enjoyable to read novels, I still want to get through more than I used to.
