3 passes for exam.
First pass answering everything you know the answer to off the bat usually even in the preview stage.
Second pass any answers that come up now with consideration for the allocated time.
Third pass, anything that you left behind.. at which point you elimate the answers you know are false and guess if you still have a choice to make... try guessing from your gut, remembering that your inner mind had access to the information and that it can come up with the right answer if you allow it.
