Actually it's not the key step. People with vision in only one eye will never see the blip page and that is no reason why one cannot PhotoRead. You're making too big a deal of it and as a result are just think you're not getting it.
The key step is simply to relax and soften your gaze so you see the full both pages at the same time. When you do that you go into parallel vision this will cause a blip page. Play with stereograms if you're so insistant on seeing the blip page.
It's not the eyes that read it's the mind and what the mind chooses to show your consciousness looks scrambled because thats what it spent all these years trained to do.
Again if the blip page gives you so much trouble ..... leave it alone and use the imaginary X technique. PhotoReading is the non conscious mind taking in the information... it's not a blip page.
