I am an otherwise healthy person, however, on the few occasions I have used the Memory Supercharger paraliminal, I have had to stop because of developing headaches.

Does anybody know why this is caused? Do I have something buried deep in my psyche that is trying to get out, but wont -- or cant?

Am only new to the whole PhotoReading thing, and want to get the best results for my self, but if I am going to keep suffering whilst learning, I am not sure I can continue.

Any advice is appreceiated.

Have you been drinking water or yin yang water prior to doing PRing or using the paraliminals. Most people don't maintain the proper fluid level.

Did you know that although the brain typically comprises only 2% of your body mass, it consumes 20% to 25% of the oxygen that the body uses.

Also (a little fuzzier/older) that for physical performance that being 1 litre below your proper level will decrease your performance potential by 10%.

That's just my cheerful Monday morning way of saying, it's probably a lack of water.

You are perfection.

Perhaps your brain and body cry for more water indeed! To keep the engine running one should drink enough water. And not just any water, because there are differencies between the water.

I used to have headaches while activating, because I stressed too much about an exam I wanted to pass. I wanted to succeed and to get the best results and I wanted it all at once. Didn’t work.

Those days I photoread other subjects too, just for fun, and good results with those books showed me that photoreading really works despite my difficulties.
Then I had a little break due to summer holidays and didn't photoread at all for a while. The break did good to me.

Now I've begun photoreading again. I 'just do it' and don't think about it too much. Like a child when he/she plays.

Now I see PR as a game.
For instance, when postviewing or super-reading a book. My subconscious is the driver while I'm (with the conscious mind) sitting on the co-driver's seat with no worries and just enjoy the ride and can't wait where the driver is going to take me... This may sound a bit silly, but that's how I felt today :-)
When activating, I give the driver instructions where I want him to drive (=destination).

Since for you the Memory Supercharger caused the headache I am going to guess that you were trying too hard to listen to both voices at the same time. Because this creates confusion as it is designed to do you are getting tense trying to follow what is being said.

When it comes to listening to the Paraliminal don't try to follow either of the voices and just let your attention go down the middle. You might find yourself listening to one voice for a bit and the other for a section and that's fine.

Remember to breathe. A stuffy room, tight fitting clothing that cut off circulation can also create a headache. Drink a glass of water prior to listening. As already stated this is a possible reason. (yin yang water is not necessary and probably doesn't mean much you unless you happen to be a practioner of Spring Forest Qigong)

If the Paraliminal continues to give you problems continue the course without it. It's a fine resource for helping to learn anything (not just PhotoReading) but it is not an absolute necessity for learning to PhotoRead. So there is no reason to give up learning to PhotoRead.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I do live in a hot climate, and probably did not drink as much water as I should.

Will take all of your advice onboard, and let you know how it goes.

I have let some of my friends use my paraliminal, and on the strength of this alone (and I can quote all sorts of stuff from seemingly nowhere to them) they will be soon joining me PR'ing.

Tahnks once again
