Whatever you need to know you can find in a book. It's a matter of purpose. What do you want/need from the Author? An example that I have given previously and is buried in the number of post that I have made so I give it again from time to time.

Shortly after I learned to PhotoRead my computer decided to get creative and not open window. This usually mean reinstall the operating system or reformat. I had some data on the computer that I really wanted to save however I could not access through windows. I knew that Dos ran in the background and that I should be able to access my hard drive to copy the files I wanted to save to floppy but guess what?

I don't know Dos, I'm not a computer programmer. What to do? Well I knew I needed to know some specific commands to access and copy my files on my harddrive to floppies. Lucky for me a friend had left some old How to Dos books with me otherwise I would have had to make a trip to the library. Knowing what I needed to do I PhotoRead the book with the intent to find the commands I needed quickly. Took me about 3 minutes to learn what I needed to know of Dos and the commands to travel to the files on my hard drive and an hour to copy the files across.

Yes. The impact of PhotoReading can run deeper than merely getting your reading done faster. For each of us it is different and the only way to discover what PhotoReading holds for us is to do it. I've PhotoRead books and moved to activation and then given up on it it in a matter of minutes because "there is nothing in this book that I don't already know". What intriques me is the wonder... did I know it before I PhotoRead it?

Oh and it isn't a "feeling" of familarity that I get. It's straight forward I already know this I'm not being told anything new here or this is boring I don't need to know this I'm not going to use it reaction. I can safely not activate a book like that without feeling like I missed something because I've also noticed that when I need the information and I want to activate it and make it conscious I know exactly which book I need to go to to get the information quickly. Even if I'm not interested in the book I seem to know that it contains information that is useful to someone else when they mention an aspect of the subject.

There comes a point where one must let ggo of the analysis paralysis and just experience the system first hand. This does mean suspending disbelief while doing it for a while. Just like we suspend the disbelief that brushing our teeth prevents decay. We do it even though it may not be 100% successful all the time.
