I kept trying and trying and trying for 3 months. It took me three months to learn from the book. It helped to learn from the little tips in this forum as well.

Basically, I ended up photoreading 5 or more books a day and activating one book a week like in the 5 day test. For example, I picked Sun Tzu's Art of War to do the 5 day test on. Over 5 days, I photoread and activated the book. But I also photoread 4 or 5 other books concurrently without activating them. The 5 day test taught me how to activate a book.

"And this 5 day test... I think in that case PR is useless. How can a book on marketing help you build a business plan? Look at the contents, super read it and rapid read the paragraphs you notice that suit your need."

I found that I didn't really know where to start, so I photoread my marketing textbook asking myself..."I desire the information in the book, "Marketing, Real people, Real Decisions" (2001 Pearson Education Canada Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada Prentice Hall Publishing) to write a maketing plan and successfully market my product." What Photo Reading really did was tell me where to dip in the book. Some subtitles I skipped because they were irrelevant, some passages I just felt like I had to dip in and rapid read the sentence. (There was just a feeling in my gut that there was information there that I had to know to write my plan.) Photoreading helped me notice what I needed. It helped me find which section were relevent to my purpose and which were not and where to look in those sections.

"Tell me how did you managed to get rid of the fear "I know nothing after all that reading"! I want to hear something real not just theory!"

All I know after I photoread was that I just went through the process of photoreading, and if it works, heck, why not. If not, that's cool anyways. I can activate it later to see what happens. But I also feel differently after I photoread and say my closing affirmations. Plus I know I see the third (blip) page, so I know I did it right. So I do the 5 day test and eventually the book gels for me. All I have to do is look at my mind map and I usually know where in the book I found that point on my maps.

That's my experience. Hope it helps.
