As a beginner you will check your final comprehension with a rapid read. If you didn't skimp on the activation something beginners do all to often because they think they are not getting it. You check with a rapid read. If you find yourself taking more time rapid reading than you used for activating or you picked up most of the answers to your mind probing questions during the rapid read,it means you needed to do more activation. When you have successfully activated rapid reading a book from cover to cover will take 40 minutes at the most.
With use the activation sessions become less and rapid reading is definately unnecessary. It's a good way to check your comprehension and wise to do on a couple of books in the beginning.
