Hello all,
I am interested in any and all suggestions for use in the "Sales" area. I am starting out in sales in the Telecom field. I've had years experience on the "tech" area of this field. I have been trying the PRS for a couple of months now and I have been using the Photoreading steps to use on "Sales" books. However, the need to also increase my personal confidence and knowledgablility, or the appearance of these is very important to me. Seems that I have some feelings of misgiving and uncertainty. I will appreciate andy and all suggestions you all may have. Thanx.

If you are serious and want to succeed beyond your wildest dreams in Sales then visit the best source on Sales EVER on the web at http://www.gitomer.com/

I have purchased everything I can from their website on sales ... it ROCKS!

They also have a newsletter you can subscribe too ... excellent!

I can guarantee that the book they sell "The Sales Bible" will change your perception on sales in any area of life.

Good luck!

Thanks Michael!!

Just ran through http://www.gitomer.com/ web site, and it is good! Thumbs up guy, gitomer.com IS a winning site for sales! This is what I need to get me in the right frame of mind for sales. Appreciate your response.

Now, as to Paraliminals and/or Courses from Learning Stratagies, would you Michael or anyone else have experience with some Paraliminals that you feel will work to increase confidence in Sales???

Thanx very much.

Study of Sales, Action and time breed success in Sales. All this add's upto is experience.

An in-experienced Salesperson will have to make up for sales volumes with time. An experienced Saleperson can make the sale much quicker by drawing on experience in less time.

Sales is simple. Bring VALUE to the other person first. The Sale takes care of itself!

Try the Sales Leap Paraliminal. Listen to this tape to develop the skills that top salespeople have, and also to reinforce your drive and success.

Also, if you're intrested in a self study course, try Decisive Action to help you perform successfully and take action.

You are wise, Michael! That's good solid input, especially showing your VALUE to a client, which will translate to closing a sale.
Thanks Sandy I will look into the Sales Leap Paraliminal and let you know if this all improves my sales.

You begin to show wisdom, when you begin to listen.

Hey Foneguy, I'd recommend the following books:

Persuasion Engineering, by Richard Bandler and John Lasalle. Great book, transcripted from a seminar about getting yourself into the proper state for selling and creating good feelings in yourself and the clint.

and

Unlimited Selling Power by Donald Moine adn Kenneth Lloyd. They show you how to apply Ericksonian conversational hypnosis (the same type Paul Scheele uses in the paraliminals) to the selling procedure.

Another one you might try out is

High Probability Selling by Jacques Werth.
If you're gonna be doing a lot of cold calling, this is the book to get.

I would also highly recommend the previously recommended paraliminals, sales leap, self esteem supercharger, and of course natural brilliance, ideal mindset, decisive action, consistent achievement.

Good Luck (luck of course meaning preparation meeting opportunity)!

George

Thanks Huttog,
I will jot those books down and look them up. What I will try, once I decide which ones will benefit me, is Photoread them and maybe not activate them. See how they show up in my work. I don't know yet, but once a get a few more books together, I will use the PRS. I'm shooting for tonight.

Anyhoo, I do extend thanks for your information that you posted.
