I don't think that you 'have' to see the text in 3-D like the stereograms (When you see the blip, it's like you are already seeing a 3-d text, but the text on the blip is going to be clear, and you might be reading it, so you won't be photoreading anymore. And if you really want the blip,focus on the on something far away (look on top of the book.)). If you can see it, that's also good. But if you can't, just relax your eyes and use the soft gaze or the imaginary X technique.
