I have been though the PhotoReading course twice the last time over twenty years ago. During the first course I had an experience like yours where I suddenly had this brillance of recall. The experience was startling. Like you nothing like that happened again. Paul was the instructor then and said we could take the course again any time if we wanted. So I took him up on his offer.
Still nothing happened to match that first experience so I shelved the photoreading process or so I thought. Since then I have this feeling and can recite things I have glanced at if I just slow down for a second and think about what I saw. Its pretty amazing to people. Was to me too for awhile Now its like feeling my left ear, never occurs to me until someone mentions it.
I also score in the nineties on reading comprehension tests when the average college student rarely gets into the 30...40 range. Does photoreading work? Don't know for sure, I can just do reading things that are pretty amazing to me.
