Open the book to any page.
Every word that carries meaning for you on that page is a trigger word. Words that seem sigificant will probably somehow relate to your purpose.
Eliminating words like, like, and, more, if, but, who, when, a, be, single letters of the alphabet and numbers (1,2,3) every other word is a trigger word. It's in the book! It's a trigger word! To give examples is only going to apply false rules. There ain't none. They are all trigger words and the only reason you pick it because you're curious what that word has to do with the book.
As for your purpose ... that isn't a good purpose... To understand the shadow self. Assuming you even know what a shadow self is how is understanding the shadow self going to be useful to you? How will you apply the information.
For me my purpose might be to know what the shadow self is so I can use the information to understand me better. Or To know what the authors thoughts are on shadow self and where s/he gets it from so I can compare notes.
My first purpose is usally to find out if the book is interesting enough to bother with so... my first purpose is probably to find out if this book has anything new that can help me in my life. When I find that out in a preview or postview all change my puprose if I find reson to do so.
