Are you saying that during previewing one is to read some of the text, rather than look at it with a soft gaze to notice trigger words? Because of the way I read, it would be impossible for me to understand the complexity of passages, the negative or the positive, without actually reading. I hadnt realised reading was part of previewing per-se?
