Hey all, I'm very new to Photoreading. I just got my hands on the book a few days ago, and I think that it's something I'll be able to do. I'm a bit confused, however, over PhotoFocus and the Accelerated Learning state.
First of all, when I do the 3-2-1 technique, I don't really feel any fundamental shift. Sure, I feel relaxed and calm with a peaceful state of mind, but I can't really feel like I'm in any sort of "state." If I open my eyes and walk around I feel no different than right after my 3-2-1. Is the 3-2-1 technique supposed to "click" or is the goal merely relaxation?
Secondly, I don't quite understand PhotoFocus. I have no trouble at all getting the blip page, and I can see the "cocktail weenie" easily, even looking straight at it. However, when I'm doing it I think I'm just crossing my eyes, much as I do when I'm looking at one of those 3D puzzles. Is this the right way to look at the page? Because I never lose the blip but I seem to see 2 of everything.
Thanks in advance for the help!
