i've just bought the book a few weeks ago. after a few days reading it, i have some question:
1) if you just photoread a book (no preview, no activating, etc...), can the information still be retain(available) in the mind? if you wish to recall back the info, do you close your eyes and let it come to you? (or something like that)
2) yesterday, i made a test for myself, to see if PR really works. i photoread one of my mom's fav novel for 30 min (prepare, preview, photoread, but didnt activate and didnt rapid read. done that in 10 min and rested for 20 min). then i let my mom ask questions bout the novel. i mostly got wrong answers, a few 'close' answers and only 1 correct answer. is my photoreading working, or is there another way to test myself for better result?
3) i'm currently studying foreign languages(which includes subjects like math and physic in foreign language). there is this big test on the 25th this month. can PR help me get better understanding of the language? if so, is there any method that is recommended (maybe i wont get a 'true' answer for this, but i like opinions)
4) lately i've been looking into the forums for more info on PR. since some posts are quite long, and moreover i have not much time to spend, can i just PR a topic straight away, and then do something else after that (study, sleep,)? can you know the topic even without speed reading/dip it?
5) lastly, is it better to PR often or to activate often? which is better to use for exam? is there any good tips for exams and/or questions from textbook,etc..?
sorry for the long (and many) questions. i'm just infinitely curious about the system and how it'll work. i'm currently in college and in the first few weeks, im doing pretty well, but my grades are getting lower and lower by the months. now im in the 'lower average' scale and there's a big test on the 25th. i just hope anyone can give me good tips on PR or others stuffs so i can pass the exam well. not only that, i wish to become a good PR.
again i apologize for the long topic. your help is greatly appreciated. thanks
