Page turning. With the index finger near the center of the book, slide toward the right (English language book) the pages usually separate so that you have one page by the time you get to the corner. You'll notice that the pages are slighty separated near the middle. It helps if the thumb gives a slight upward push on the page. If you are constantly grabbing 3 pages or more, Prepare the book and fan the pages a few times before beginning.
Whatever happens keep going. Missed too many pages? Turn the book over and start PhotoReading it upside down.
Mind wanders. Gently bring it back but keep going. Just remember in bringing your mind back that you have a purpose for this book. Say the chant and flip the pages in rhythm. You might just need to flip the pages faster.
Lose the blip. Keep going, just notice the four corners of the book and the patterns of the white on the pages and the margins, use the soft gaze. The blip will return and ig it doesn't it's cool you still PhotoRead the book. The blip will become steady when you remember to go easy on yourself.
Don't look at it as 30 minutes of practice. If you're doing it as in the five day test, experiement then you are getting something from the book. If you are just practicing... Dont! When you PhotoRead, PhotoRead with a purpose. Just do and let it be the best you can for now.
